So yeah, things are still kind of a mess. I can’t get internet out at my house through the phone company, which means the alternative is satellite internet. That’s fine except it doesn’t work for the job on the internet I was hoping to get.
So there’s no internet at my house.
And no money coming in to get internet through satellite to just enjoy.
So that means there’s no rping until I get everything straightened out. It might be a while, I’m not sure. Things are just difficult right now. So I’ll be in touch.
I miss all of you dearly, and I miss having fun with all of you.
Much Love ~Selphie, mun of Sherlock Holmes on the Run
I just wanted to let everyone know that I am all moved into my house, now it’s just to find all my stuff. LOL
So the internet should be installed in my house here in the next week or so, so that way I can work from home and work on my blog again. I miss all of you and I can’t wait to get back to blogging with everyone!!
OOC: Okay if you haven’t noticed, though I’m sure you have, I haven’t been around much at all lately. Things have descended into the ninth ring of hell for me in a lot of ways and are going to get worse starting tomorrow.
I haven’t told my mom yet that my husband and I are moving, the money isn’t coming in as good as it needs to to move with a big truck to get all my stuff to Beryl, etc. Things are just not working out like they need to, not to mention I move in a month and half my house still needs to be packed, which I only get to on weekends and is extremely tiring.
So this is a notice that I need to go on Hiatus for a while, just to get my real life straightened out and fixed around. I hope to be back by mid-February, and I will let you guys know of any changes going on as soon as I know what’s going on.
I miss you all, and I hope that I will be back sooner. All this stress has kind of put Sherlock on the couch moping.
Love you all!! <3

Sherlock opened the box, staring down at the medal for valor. Sherlock lifted it carefully out of the box and held it in his hand, letting the light from the fireplace glint off of it. Sherlock couldn’t help but smirk slightly, as he looked at it and then up at John again.
"John I …" he stuttered, it being their first Christmas back together in the flat after the fall and their long time apart. "I am deeply honored that you would give me such a thing."
Sherlock looked around the room, trying to decide which place would be the “safest” for it to be put. He grinned as he walked up to the mantle, setting it back in its box and placing it next to his skull.
"I shall tell everyone about it." said Sherlock looking back at John. "I shall make sure that everyone knows my best friend gave it to me for Christmas." he said nodding. "Merry Christmas, John."
Sherlock stared down at the gift, looking at the red bow placed on the top of a violin. He hadn’t had the time to go and grab his own violin from 221B on that day, nor after that day had he had the nerve to snitch it, knowing that John would have noticed. Sherlock sighed as he remembered how much he had wanted to take the violin with him but not being able to, and here he was on a lonely Christmas evening, with a violin to comfort him.
He would have wished to have John with him, or even Mycroft, but he knew that wasn’t possible, so the violin would have to do. The note said to not be alone, which oddly enough he was at the moment, alone that was. He sighed again, getting up from his chair and putting on his coat. He removed the violin from it’s case, taking off the bow and tuning it properly.
Sherlock then walked out of the hotel room he was staying at, walking into the quite full lobby of various patrons and their families and friends. Sherlock smirked, knowing this was the perfect place and began to play Christmas song, old favorites and new ones alike. Everyone turned and watched him, the crowd seeming to hush almost.
All Sherlock could do was beam happily. At least some of his gifts were appreciated.
"Does anyone have any requests?" he called to the crowd after he had played a few. "I’ve nothing much better to do this evening, and well … this is far better a Merrier Christmas than spending the night alone in my room." he chuckled.
Sherlock was glad to be home with Jo. It was their first Christmas all over again since everything happened. Sherlock hadn’t been expecting much, just glad to be home and glad to be with Jo.
Sherlock had sort of wandered around the house for a while. Merely trying to settle in for the night, however, that seemed impossible, despite Jo’s warnings of him needing to go to bed for “Santa Claus” to come. Of all the childish nonsense.
Finally Sherlock had fallen asleep on the couch, as he had as a child waiting to catch Santa Claus.
When Sherlock finally opened his eyes, there before him, laid out neatly on the coffee table, was a chemistry set, a very nice one at that. He hadn’t had the chance to replace his chemistry set as yet, but there it was, with a note from Joanna.
"Merry Christmas, Sherlock." it read, sighed with a simple "Jo" at the bottom.
Sherlock couldn’t help but smirk as he looked it over, and looked around the flat for signs of Jo. He wasn’t sure she knew how much this meant to him, but he was sure he wanted to let her know.
